It seems to me that Woodthorpe Park is currently enjoyed by more people than ever, particularly with the little café next to the children’s playground, and long may that last.
I salute you all, the dog walkers, the joggers, the orienteers, the Saturday bushcraft kids, the pushchair pushers, the golfers, the cyclists, the children, the sunbathers, the sledgers, the couples, the footballers (and those watching them), those being pushed in bigger chairs, the friends catching up with each other, those who work in the park, and those having a solitary, meditative walk .. I recently saw my first metal detector! .. all enjoying the special atmosphere, the green grass, the lovely old trees, the walled gardens, the tropical house, the train coming under the bridge (and the other spooky tunnel), the special Dell Garden, the lovely formal gardens, the playground, the woods, the wild flower meadows. Hopefully they will all be there forever (which I realise is a long time). This beautiful A1 poster is now available from
A Room Full of Butterflies, 632 Mansfield Road, Sherwood, Nottingham NG5 2GA and other outlets.... A limited edition of 100 @ only £9.99. As the production of this poster is a hobby rather than a business, it isn't possible to make online payments. However I can accept payment by Paypal, online banking or you can collect from my house with cash. I can also supply prints of individual images to frame or as greetings cards, prices on request. |
